Rules for Posting to the E.M.A. Events Calendar

Who can post….

  • All events must be relevant to medieval re-enactment.

  • Posts can only be made by E.M.A. member societies or event organisers.

Posts by E.M.A. member societies…

  • Posts can only be made to publicise Events which your group is attending.

  • All posts must be signed with the name of your group.

  • If you are attending an event already in the calendar simply add your signature to the existing entry.

  • Please fill in the event and participant type if possible.

  • If you are specifically looking for other groups to join you fill in the "inviting" section.

Posts by Event organisers….

  • You may only post an event if you are making an open invitation to all E.M.A. groups or you are promoting a re-enactors fair [see below].

  • For events please include the appropriate details (or links to them) so that E.M.A. groups can accept your invitation; the "inviting" section must be completed.

  • Markets or fairs specifically selling re-enactment goods may be added, but you may not include an ordinary re-enactment event simply because it has stalls selling re-enactment equipment.

  • You may not simply advertise an event.

About post content…..

  • All content should avoid offence and profanity.

  • Duplicate posts for the same event will be deleted.

  • Links to images can be added, but these images must be less than 60 pixels in height. Entries abusing this ability may be removed.

  • Where possible make the text concise and complete.

  • You can add links to websites, maps and so on. Text in the form http://www.... will automatically be converted to a hyperlink.

  • Add contact details if appropriate.

  • If you are adding to a post made by another group, please respect their content.

Go to the Event Manager Screen.
