There are hundreds of years of combined experience in the EMA, here is where you can tap in to it.

I am interested in joining a local medieval re-enactment group. I'm single so would be coming alone which is a little daunting. I live in Bulkington, North warks, close to Coventry. Has anyone got any details of a local group and how I can get involved?

Hi Lozza.

Welcome to the forum, hope you have a good time here. Have you any experience of re-enactment?

There are many groups in your neck of the woods, and many different periods, just depends on what you are interested in.

Just remember the Golden Rule, it's a hobby and should be enjoyable. :D

Best wishes,

Glamis.

I'm not sure there's an EMA group very close to you.

Dogs of War and Team Falchion both in the Nottingham/Derby area I think are about the closest (someone jump in and correct me if I'm wrong).

The War of the Rose Federation certainly have groups in your area though, I'd reccomend contacting them.

They all have websites easily found on google, but if you need more help, please ask.
